Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment at a Level II Trauma facility in West Virginia.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with a Level II Trauma designation
• Radiology department - X-Ray unit
• Uses Epic EMR
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• No weekend or holiday coverage required
• C-arm and OR proficiency required for this role

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience
• Current ARRT certification and BLS required
• Proficiency with C-arm equipment and OR procedures required
• Epic EMR experience
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• State license required if applicable

Additional Information

• A radiation dosimetry badge must be provided by the candidate's agency prior to assignment start, as the facility does not supply one
• Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a minimum 2-year break before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Travelers may not work within the WVU Medicine system for longer than one cumulative year before a 2-year break is required
• 2 supervisor/peer references required for consideration, including 1 supervisor reference and 1 peer or additional supervisor reference
• Skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
• Any background history disclosures must be provided upfront
