Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 4x10 day shift contract requiring ARRT certification, IEMA licensure, and at least 1 year of radiology experience.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend work is required
• On-call is required on a rotating basis with a 30-minute radius requirement and 13.5-hour on-call shifts
• May be required to float to a different unit or facility upon manager's request

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience required; 3+ years preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in an interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP lab preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences required; Bachelor of Science degree preferred
• Current ARRT certification required
• IEMA licensure required (IL license must be in hand; no emergency or pending licensure)
• Current BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association required
• License required if applicable
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a supervisor, manager, or charge RN within the last year

Additional Information

• Perform interventional radiology procedures in an active IR environment
• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a local pay rate
• All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of consideration and cannot be added after
