Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week outpatient clinic assignment in Wisconsin, assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders on a full-time Monday–Friday schedule.

- Outpatient clinic setting in Wisconsin
- Treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders across patient populations
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathology license (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS/BCLS certification
Additional Information
- Perform direct patient care including assessments and treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Complete patient documentation such as initial evaluations, plans of care, progress reports, and discharge summaries
- Contact insurance companies regarding patient benefits
- Provide education to interdisciplinary staff including nurses, physicians, dietitians, and food service workers based on current research
- Develop and deliver in-service presentations and educational opportunities for staff
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver patient-centered care
