Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a PACU position requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience, with no on-call or weekend requirements.
Details
- 34-bed PACU unit within a hospital setting
- Provides pre- and post-op recovery care across specialties including gynecology, orthopedics, plastics, vascular, cardiology, and general surgery
- Phase one recovery patient ratio of 1:2
- 40 hours per week with varying day shifts: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, or 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
- No on-call or weekend requirements
Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Recent PACU or post-anesthesia care experience required
- Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years required
- 2 professional references from managers required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- Care responsibilities span multiple surgical specialties in a same-day surgery program environment
