Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cath Lab/EP position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active NM or Compact RN license.

Details

• Cardiology Cath Lab unit within a regional medical center setting
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• On-call required: 8–10 days per month
• Weekend requirement: 1–2 weekends per month (on-call)
• No floating required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM RN license or current Compact state RN license required
• BLS certification from the AHA required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Active (non-expired) copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, develops individualized care plans, and implements timely nursing interventions
• Conducts Point of Care testing procedures
• Coordinates team assignments and delegates patient care support activities appropriately
• Participates in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rates
