Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) position at a leading pediatric hospital in Ohio, requiring an OH or Compact RN license and close to 2 years of relevant experience.

Details

• Position is based in a specialized Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) at a major pediatric hospital facility
• Serves a pediatric cardiovascular patient population requiring intensive critical care
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts per week, 19:00–07:30
• Floating is required and may include NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and med/surg units as needed
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Close to 2 years of CVPICU or relevant pediatric critical care nursing experience preferred
• 2 supervisory references required; at least 1 must be from a supervisor or manager (charge nurse references not accepted)
• Must be willing and able to float to multiple units including NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and med/surg

• Local candidates are not accepted for this RN position
• Candidates who have previously worked permanently at this facility must have a gap of at least 2 years before being considered
• Attendance and punctuality are strictly enforced; no call/no shows are taken very seriously and may result in termination
