Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week day shift contract at a Level III Trauma teaching hospital.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a 733-bed short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Weekends and call shifts are required
- Any call-outs for scheduled shifts may be required to be made up at the department's discretion
- Charting via Epic
- May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Current ARRT certification required
- Active state or compact license required; pending licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the main campus are not eligible for this position
- RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a maximum of 4 days
- Only 1 holiday off can be approved per contract
- Previous employees must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Travelers may only extend once with this system before being required to be away for 6 months prior to returning
- Completion of pre-start orientation modules is required (estimated 4–10 hours)
- Scrubs are provided
