Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift position at a nationally ranked, Level I trauma, major teaching hospital.

Details

  • Short-term acute care hospital setting with 978 staffed beds
  • Nationally ranked in 11 adult and 9 pediatric specialties and rated high performing in 2 adult specialties and 19 procedures and conditions
  • Major teaching hospital and Level I trauma center
  • Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
  • Charting in Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active Compact or North Carolina (NC) license required; license required if applicable
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and RRT — all must be in hand at time of consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • Flu vaccine required from 10/31 through 3/31 with no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted; local pay rate applies
  • Orientations are held bi-weekly
