Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with home health experience for a 13-week home health assignment in the St. Joseph, MO area.
Details
- Home health setting covering 13 counties in the St. Joseph, MO area, including Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Clay, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, Harrison, Holt, Platte, and Worth counties
- Rotating weekly coverage of both nearby and more distant service areas within the territory
- Patient volume adjusts on high-mileage days to account for extended travel time
- Schedule is 5x8 days (8:00–16:30), with 4x10 schedule available if preferred
- Every 5th week, two weekdays off are exchanged for weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday) to conduct admits
- Call required one Sunday every 5 weeks
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Home health experience required
- DPT required
- Current BLS certification required
- Active Missouri PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Primary responsibilities include patient evaluations and treatment visits across a multi-county home health territory
- Solid-color scrubs required: black, grey, or khaki pants with a polo or scrub top; no printed scrubs
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- Missouri license pending approval at time of posting
