Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract in Kentucky, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and availability for STEMI call with on-call and weekend responsibilities.
Details
- Cath Lab setting within a regional medical center
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00am–5:30pm, Monday–Friday
- 1–2 on-call shifts per week and 1–2 weekends of call per month
- IR (interventional radiology) experience is a plus
- Floating required within scope of practice
- Scrubs and lead apron provided by the facility
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility to meet STEMI call response requirements
- Driver's license with address matching permanent address required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: at least 1 Charge Nurse or higher and 1 supervisor, both completed within the last year
- Middle name required; confirmation needed if none exists
Additional Information
- Schedule follows a 36/48 rotating format (alternating weeks of 36 and 48 hours per pay period); inability to accept this schedule may result in cancellation
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered; RTO must be presented upfront with no changes accepted after submission
- Must be willing to work either a major or minor holiday each holiday season
- Travelers who have worked within the ARH system for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before returning
- Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis and will not be placed on the same shift or unit
- Any license hits or background check issues must be disclosed upfront
