Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (HVTI) position requiring at least 18 months of Step-Down experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital Step-Down (HVTI) unit setting
• Potential to float to other units within the same hospital to care for the same patient population
• Day/night rotating shifts: 7:00am–7:30pm and 7:00pm–7:30am (3x12-hour shifts)
• Shift rotation may be required based on operational needs

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact state RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Step-Down (travel experience also accepted)
• Minimum 18 months of recent Step-Down experience required
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; an acceptable passing score on both is required
• Holiday coverage required — must work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location; a minimum 6-month break is required before starting a new assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
