Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in a hospital-based Endoscopy and Pulmonary suite, requiring BLS and ACLS certifications and at least one year of nursing experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Endoscopy and Pulmonary suite serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2
- Anesthesia coverage provided for sedation procedures
- On-call is required
- No weekend requirements
- Holiday coverage required on an as-needed basis
- ProVation EMR system is used in this unit
Requirements
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact license accepted
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certification required
- Current ACLS (AHA) certification required
- CPI-B certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
- Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or MSN preferred
- Familiarity with ProVation EMR required
Additional Information
- Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process, including patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support continuity of care and discharge planning
- Performs bedside point-of-care testing as required by the patient care plan
- Addresses cultural and ethnic considerations in patient care planning
- Two professional references required for consideration
