Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position at an acute care hospital, with 3+ years of experience and Epic EMR proficiency required.
Details
- Outpatient PT unit within a 277-bed acute care hospital
- Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- 13-week contract
- Floating between facilities within the state is expected and required
- Possibility of floating to acute rehab unit with appropriate orientation
- Block schedule may be accommodated at manager's discretion
- Free parking on-site
- Epic EMR used; experience required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Acute rehab experience preferred, or willingness to float to acute rehab
- Active PT license required; pending licenses not accepted
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Local candidates are accepted
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission
- Minimal RTO is preferred; excessive RTO requests may impact eligibility
