Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in New Mexico, requiring at least 1-2 years of OR experience and an active NM or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting
• Day shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• On-call required per 6-week schedule: approximately 3 weeknight call shifts (Mon–Thu, 5:00 PM–10:00 PM) and 2–3 twelve-hour call shifts on weekends
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active NM RN license or compact RN license required; pending NM license is acceptable
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of OR nursing experience required
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a travel nurse
• No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
