Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a NICU position at a Level II Trauma, academic teaching hospital in Washington, requiring Epic proficiency and 2 years of NICU experience.
Details
- Works in the NICU of a 629-bed short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Academic teaching hospital environment
- Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on patient acuity
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Variable weekend requirements
- Floating between facilities within the state of Washington is required
- Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
- No on-call required
Requirements
- Active WA RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- All required certifications must be current and on file
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrubs may be any color for RNs
- Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this assignment
- Candidates with prior work history at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) should be prepared to disclose the location and dates of that employment
