Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 1.5 years of ED experience, TNCC certification, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM
• Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Epic EMR experience required
• Travelers are first to float at the health system's discretion, within medically appropriate specialty clusters, which may include high-risk respiratory units
• If assigned to the main campus location, floating to other campuses within the health system may be required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI/AVADE/CalmEveryStorm
• BSN or Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care within a fast-paced ED environment
• Travelers are not eligible for facility employee incentives
• Holiday coverage is required on a rotating every-other-holiday basis
