Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Massachusetts, requiring a permanent MA RN license, at least 1.5 years of experience, and Level I trauma experience is highly preferred.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) setting at an acute care hospital in Worcester, MA
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, with a standard start time of 7:00 PM
• Shift start time may flex up to four hours earlier or later based on urgent staffing need, though this occurs very rarely
• Telemetry monitoring is required in this role
• Epic EMR experience is preferred

Requirements

• Permanent MA RN license currently in hand is required
• Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry
• Level I trauma center experience is highly preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Candidates must have a clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions

Additional Information

• Orientation includes two pass/fail exams — a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam — each with only one attempt allowed; failure of either exam results in immediate contract cancellation
• Study materials will be provided during the compliance process and facility-specific orientation to help prepare for exams
