Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift travel assignment at a Level I trauma center in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 1 year of CT experience and active ARRT certification.

Details

• Inpatient CT department within a Level I trauma center that is also Stroke Accredited
• Work setting includes ER, OR, and Adult ICU patient populations serving a diverse community
• CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every third weekend required
• On-call rotation once every 10 weeks

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• ARRT Advanced certification preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure ER and trauma environment
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; no co-worker references accepted

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging across a broad range of procedures including brain perfusion studies in support of a stroke-accredited, Level I trauma center
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Former facility employees are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation from the facility
• Requested time off must be submitted prior to booking and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract duration
• Candidates must complete Ohio state fingerprinting promptly upon booking; out-of-state candidates within driving distance will need to travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location, while those further away will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet to complete urgently
