Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift contract at a major academic medical center in Virginia.
Details
- 13-week contract at a large academic medical center
- Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
- Night shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3x12-hour shifts per week, with option for 4x12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend rotation
- Every other holiday required
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Current RRT certification required (must be in-hand)
- BLS required
- ACCS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience required; 4+ years preferred
- VA state license required if applicable; VA temp license eligible if another state license is held
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Copies of required certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- This is a university-affiliated academic medical center
- Candidates may be floated in accordance with their clinical experience
- No radius rule — local candidates are accepted
- Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract; any planned time off between signing and start date should be communicated in advance
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
