Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Level 3/4 NICU night shift contract requiring a minimum of 2 years Level 3 NICU experience and NRP/BLS certification.
Details
- Level 3/4 NICU unit within a hospital setting
- 97-bed unit staffed with approximately 200 team members
- Patient ratio of 3-4 patients per RN
- Uses Medfusion pumps, Alaris pumps, Giraffe Isolettes, and GE monitors
- EMR systems used: CPN and Meditech
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week contract assignment
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current NRP certification required (Advanced 9th Edition)
- Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as no local candidates will be considered
- Experienced travelers preferred over first-time travelers
- Navy scrub color required per unit dress code
- No nail polish or artificial nails permitted per unit policy
- Ideal candidates are friendly, outgoing, and compassionate
