Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of U.S. hospital experience for a 13-week assignment at a regional medical center.

Details

• 13-week contract at a regional medical center
• Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday with one weekend per month
• 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Active OT license required (no pending licenses); license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience in a U.S. hospital setting
• Degree from an AOTA-accredited program required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• CPI certification required
• US SSN required
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services including patient evaluation, program planning, and treatment administration as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Develop individualized, age-appropriate plans of care based on physician referrals and OT evaluation findings
• Accurately document all patient treatments and respond effectively to changing work assignments
• Must be available to work one holiday if needed
• First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible; 2 years of U.S. hospital experience is required
