Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Post Surgical PACU position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring active NM or Compact RN licensure and PACU experience.

Details

• Post Surgical PACU unit in a regional medical center setting
• Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM, four 10-hour rotating shifts per week
• 2 weekend call shifts per month (12-hour shifts; Saturday + Sunday counts as 1 weekend)
• 1 night call shift required per week
• Floating within surgical services required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM RN license or current Compact state RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all via AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• US Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for obtaining and documenting initial patient assessments and establishing care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized, measurable plans of care in accordance with nursing standards
• Performs Point of Care testing procedures and documents timely interventions
• Participates in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Graphite grey scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted on this position
