Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Post Surgical PACU position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring active NM or Compact RN licensure and PACU experience.
Details
- Post Surgical PACU unit in a regional medical center setting
- Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM, four 10-hour rotating shifts per week
- 2 weekend call shifts per month (12-hour shifts; Saturday + Sunday counts as 1 weekend)
- 1 night call shift required per week
- Floating within surgical services required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NM RN license or current Compact state RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all via AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- US Social Security Number required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsible for obtaining and documenting initial patient assessments and establishing care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
- Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized, measurable plans of care in accordance with nursing standards
- Performs Point of Care testing procedures and documents timely interventions
- Participates in patient and family health education and discharge planning
- Graphite grey scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted on this position
