Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift travel assignment at a critical access hospital in Bryson City, NC, requiring 1+ year of experience and certifications including RRT, BLS, and ACLS.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory Therapy department of a critical access hospital (approx. 86 beds) serving all patient populations including adult, pediatric, and neonatal
• Hospital has a Level II nursery; RTs attend all high-risk C-sections
• Equipment includes v60 BiPAPs, GE Carescape, Hamilton T1, Nihon Kohden BiPAPs, ABL-90, MAC EKG machines, Vapotherms, Bubble CPAP, SiPAP, and Neo-Puff
• EHR: Paragon
• Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No floating required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current RRT certification required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA certifications required)
• PALS and NRP must be obtained while on assignment if not already held
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Scrubs must be any solid color; top and bottom must match
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
