Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical Telemetry position in Las Cruces, NM, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a valid NM or compact RN license.

Details

• Medical Surgical Telemetry unit on the 6th floor of an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to other MS units may be required
• No on-call requirements
• Meditech EHR is in use
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA-issued only)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility is Joint Commission Accredited and a Certified Primary Stroke Center with a Chest Pain Center and Primary PCI capabilities
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates must not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Located in Las Cruces, NM, near White Sands National Park, Organ Mountains, and offering year-round outdoor recreation
