Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of circulating experience with a strong focus on orthopedics, neuro, and trauma cases.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital surgical unit with 10 OR beds and a team of approximately 50 staff
• High-volume unit performing approximately 500 cases per month across orthopedics, neuro, GU, cardiac, endovascular, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery
• Equipment includes robotic (da Vinci), ortho, neuro, GU, cardiac, endovascular, and laparoscopic systems
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Shift hours are 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Must be available to run two rooms on weekends
• EMR system is Meditech
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or a Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required, with emphasis on orthopedics, neuro, and trauma
• Must be able to independently circulate ortho, neuro, da Vinci robotic, and trauma cases
• Must be able to run two rooms on weekends
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Blue scrubs required
• Must be staffed in-house to support trauma designation
