Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring prior travel experience, Cerner proficiency, and night shift availability with every-other-weekend coverage.
Details
- Work in a combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department
- Patient ratio of 1:4-6
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00–07:00)
- Every other weekend required, with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday and Saturday nights)
- 13-week contract
- Cerner EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- At least 1 prior completed travel assignment required
- Experience in a combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrubs not provided; royal blue is the required color
- Orientation is held every Monday
- Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
