Description

American Traveler is hiring a Interventional Radiology Technologist with experience in Neuro IR, vascular procedures, and hybrid OR cases for a 13-week contract at an academic teaching hospital in Ohio.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit within a large academic teaching hospital
• Procedures include stroke interventions, carotid stenting, aneurysm repair, vascular procedures, ECMO, and TAVR cases
• Neuro IR and Hybrid OR case experience utilized in this role
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call required: one weekend every 13 weeks and one call day per month
• Epic EMR in use

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an IR Technologist
• Active BLS required
• Experience with fluoroscopy, C-arm, and hemodynamic monitoring required
• Neuro IR and/or vascular experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

• 2-week orientation provided
• All candidates must complete Ohio state fingerprinting promptly after accepting an assignment; candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to a fingerprinting location or complete a mailed packet upon receipt
• Former facility employees are eligible after a minimum 6-month separation from the facility
• RTO must be submitted at the time of consideration and built into the contract, with a maximum of 7 days
• Local candidates are accepted
