Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, with nights and an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) setting in a hospital environment
• Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (84 hours biweekly)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required; 3 years preferred
• Candidates with 2 years of experience must have worked in a high-volume or trauma facility
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result will result in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances that could produce a positive result, including CBD products
