Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position at an academic medical center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and active RRT certification.

Details

• 13-week travel contract
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (4x12-hour shifts)
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Every other holiday coverage required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RRT certification required (must be in-hand; pending not accepted)
• Active VA state license required, or license pending provided a temp license can be obtained prior to start date — a license from another state is required to be eligible for a temp license
• BLS certification required
• ACCS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; 4+ years preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Position is based in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at an academic medical center
• Candidates may be floated in accordance with their clinical experience
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
• Any planned time off between signing and start date should be communicated at the time of consideration
• Local candidates are welcome to apply — no radius rule in effect
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a minimum of 12 months pass before returning as a traveler
