Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a NICU position in Maryland, requiring a minimum of 2 years of pediatric/NICU experience and a rotating day/night schedule with every other weekend commitment.

Details

• Position is in a Neonatal ICU (NICU) within a pediatric hospital setting
• Patient population includes premature infants and neonates with conditions such as PCU, prematurity, AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, iatrogenic NAS, and trach-dependent patients
• Rotating day/night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30 days / 19:00–07:30 nights)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within the specialty, including to a Baltimore sister campus
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Maryland (MD) or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with pediatric and NICU background
• Trach experience required
• Experience in PCU, prematurity, AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, or iatrogenic NAS preferred
