Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(N) or NMTCB registry for a 13-week travel contract in a full-service nuclear medicine department.
Details
- Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
- Specialized procedures include Pluvicto, Lutathera, Y90 theraspheres, I-131 thyroid therapies, SPECT/CT, blood volumes, general NM, and cardiac NM
- Medication dispensing via Omnicell
- Documentation via Epic EMR
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Call required once per week from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Every 3rd weekend call (Saturday and Sunday), 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Weekend shifts as needed, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Floating to other units and/or campuses within the health system may be required based on census needs; staff will only float to units they are qualified for
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine
- ARRT(N) or NMTCB registry required
- BLS/CPR certification required
- SCRQSA certification required
- ARRT in Radiology preferred; CT certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the Prisma Health Greenville flagship hospital to be eligible for this position
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Driver's license and Social Security Number required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform advanced nuclear medicine procedures including radiopharmaceutical therapies (Pluvicto, Lutathera, Y90 theraspheres, I-131), SPECT/CT imaging, cardiac NM, and blood volume studies
- First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
- The facility's goal is to keep staff in their home unit, though floating within the health system may be required per census demands
