Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Florence, AL, requiring a minimum of 5 years of med/surg experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

Details

• Work on a 18-bed Med/Surg unit in an inpatient hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift (7a-7p) with night shift (7p-7a) options available
• Rotating weekends required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 5 years of med/surg experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation takes place on Mondays
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates must not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Team-oriented candidates willing to take ownership of their role are preferred
