Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring an active AL or compact RN license, with day shifts Monday through Friday and on-call responsibilities.

Details

• OR (Operating Room) department within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (6:00–15:00)
• No weekend requirements
• On-call required — details will be discussed during the interview

Requirements

• Active AL state RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Can be considered with a pending license

Additional Information

• Candidates who previously worked at this facility as permanent employees are not eligible for this travel assignment
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days for the duration of the assignment
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are accepted but at a different rate
• Hospital housing is available and consists of shared units with private bedrooms and shared common spaces; gender-specific units are available, and no dogs are permitted — travelers coordinate housing directly with the facility
• The facility is located in a remote area, making the provided hospital housing the best available option
• Economy-class flight reimbursement is available for travel to and from the assignment; detailed flight and luggage receipts are required for reimbursement processing
• Flight itinerary must be submitted one week prior to the start date; the facility will assist with airport pickup upon arrival
