Description
American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a night shift weekend contract requiring 1 year of recent GE MRI experience and ARRT certification.
Details
- Performs routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients of all ages
- 10-hour night shifts on weekends only
- Every weekend schedule with 20 hours guaranteed per week
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent GE MRI experience required
- ARRT certification required (AMRIT certification will not be accepted)
- BLS required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Performs all MRI studies including administration of contrast media using age-appropriate technical and positioning protocols
- Assists radiologist with MR procedures as requested
- Evaluates MRI images for technical quality and performs equipment warm-up, calibration, and safety checks
- Adheres to MRI safety standards and maintains ARRT standards of practice
- No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this contract
