Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with acute care experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma teaching hospital in Saint Cloud, MN.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with 479 staffed beds
- Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma teaching hospital
- SLP Acute Care unit focusing on bedside swallow evaluations and treatments
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (5x8-hour shifts)
- Every 5th weekend required (both Saturday and Sunday)
- Charting performed in Epic
- Local candidates are not accepted — candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of acute care SLP experience required
- Experience with bedside swallow evaluations and treatments required
- Video fluoroscopy swallow evaluation (VFSE) experience preferred
- Active, unrestricted Minnesota SLP license required; pending licenses not accepted — license required if applicable
- BLS certification may be required per facility standards
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront; no RTO during the first week of the assignment, and no more than 10 days of RTO for the duration of the contract
- Scrub color requirements are available in the facility profile
- Free parking available in the North Lot in any unrestricted space
