Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position at a short-term acute care teaching hospital, requiring Cath Lab experience, Epic proficiency, and on-call availability.
Details
- Cath Lab unit within a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital in Portland, OR
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call required on both weekdays and weekends
- No weekend requirements beyond on-call
- Float between multiple facilities within Oregon based on unit needs, including locations in Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and others
- Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff
- Charting performed in Epic
Requirements
- Active OR RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Active RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Provides nursing care in a cardiac catheterization lab setting within a large academic health system
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent employees of the health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the submitting facility
- RTO is expected to be minimal for this position
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
