Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in a short-term acute care hospital setting, requiring at least 1 year of experience and active ARRT or CCI RCIS certification.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital with 325 staffed beds
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit performing diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Procedures include diagnostic cath, PCI (stents, balloon angioplasty, laser, rotational atherectomy, Impella, IABP, CTO), structural heart (TAVR, balloon valvuloplasty, Watchman), and EP (EPS, A-fib/flutter ablations, BiV and pacemaker implants)
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- One on-call day per week and one on-call weekend every 5–6 weeks
- Charting in Epic (experience required)
- Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience
- Active BLS and ACLS required
- ARRT-R or CCI RCIS certification required
- Active WA Radiologic Technologist or CIS license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates with a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible

- Rhythm interpretation skills are preferred
- All requested time off must be disclosed upfront
- Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
