Description
American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and OASIS proficiency to serve patients in Seaside, OR and surrounding areas.
Details
- Home health setting covering Seaside, OR and surrounding areas
- 1:1 patient ratio, visiting up to 6 patients per day with a standard of 30 productivity points
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- No floating between like units required
- Uses EPIC Remote Client for Home Health charting on laptop and Rover app on phone, along with OASIS documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience required
- BLS certification required
- OASIS documentation experience required
- PT license required if applicable
- Must have reliable personal transportation for daily travel between patient visits, with occasional drive times of 60-90 minutes covering up to a 60-mile radius
- Experience with home exercise programs and patient/family education
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include assessment and treatment of orthopedic, neurologic, and post-surgical conditions in a home health setting
- Conditions treated may include post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, total joint replacements, and post-op spinal, shoulder, and cervical surgeries
- Business casual attire required; scrubs allowed but not mandatory and no specific color required
- Requires primary series COVID vaccination plus one booster
- Free parking available and mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
- First-time travelers accepted
- Facility may cancel up to one shift per pay period
- Considered a local candidate within a 50-75 mile radius, with locals accepted at the same pay rate
- Pending license applications accepted
