Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a 13-week travel contract at a 536-bed acute care teaching hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 536 total staff beds
- Teaching hospital environment
- Day shift, Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Weekends not required
- 3 on-call shifts required per month
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state — refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- ARRT certification and current BLS required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable — must be active at time of consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility if they were previously employed there as permanent staff
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- Any color scrubs are acceptable for this unit
- Parking is available at no cost
