Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech) for a 13-week travel contract at a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 total staffed beds
- X-Ray Tech unit — no floating between units within the facility
- On-call required: 3 call shifts per month
- Block schedule required; weekends are not required
- 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM
- Charting via Epic (required)
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray Tech experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Current and active professional license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- First-time travelers (1-year experience) are considered for this position
- Scrubs may be any color; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided
- No parking fee
