Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU/PCU Day Shift position at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and willingness to float to Med/Surg.

• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting
• ICU/PCU unit with Med/Surg Adult crossover
• Day shift schedule
• Floating to the Med/Surg unit (MSU) required as needed
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WA state RN license or compact license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Experience in ICU, PCU, and Med/Surg settings required
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for patient education, safety measures, infection control, and accurate documentation throughout assigned shift
• Duties include completing and verifying physician orders, reporting critical lab values, and providing thorough shift-change reports
• Maintains and restocks emergency carts and general supplies
• Must demonstrate safe operation and basic troubleshooting of equipment used in PCU, Telemetry, and Med/Surg areas
