Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a night shift travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Hospital-based Neonatal ICU (NICU) setting
- Level III or higher NICU environment
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every third weekend required
- Holidays covered as needed
- No on-call or floating requirements
- Epic EMR used; experience required
- May involve caring for COVID-positive patients
Requirements
- Active PA RN license or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience at a Level III or higher facility
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Experience with all modes of ventilation — HFCC, CPAP, and conventional vents — preferred
Additional Information
- Candidates undergo a clinical screening process to assess fit prior to manager review; a manager interview is required
- Maximum of 7 days of time off requests for the duration of the contract; all time off requests must be submitted upfront
- This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility

Sometimes the schedule can be confusing with rotating shifts and call schedules that don’t align well with your scheduled shifts. But again if there is a major concern they’ll try and work with you on it!
