Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical (3rd Floor) night shift position in West Virginia, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an AHA-approved BLS certification.

Details

• Work in the Medical/Surgical unit (3rd Floor) of an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA-approved BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (declinations not accepted)
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Previously employed permanent staff of this health system must wait 2 years before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Any missed shift requires a make-up shift to be worked within the same work week, or within the same pay period if the same week is not possible
