Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience including General, Pediatric General, and Trauma cases.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of a Level I Trauma Center hospital
• Patient population includes General OR, Pediatric General OR, and Trauma cases
• Schedule options: three 12-hour day shifts (6:30am–7:00pm) with every other weekend, or a 7-on/7-off rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA-issued only)
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Experience in General OR, Pediatric General OR, and Trauma required
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Contract RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their standard patient care responsibilities
