Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgical ICU position at a Level 1 trauma facility, requiring Epic experience and ACLS certification for night shifts.

Details

• 15-bed Surgical/Trauma ICU in a Level 1 trauma facility
• Adult surgical and trauma critical care patient population
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Floating required per facility float policy
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ICU experience in a surgical or trauma setting strongly recommended given the Level 1 environment
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Fast-paced critical care environment with a high acuity surgical and trauma patient population
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per contract period
• RTO cannot be approved for Memorial Day weekend
• No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must allow 12 months to pass before returning as a traveler
