Description
American Traveler is seeking a General Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a 13-week night shift contract at an academic medical center, with a minimum of 12 months of experience required.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within a general ultrasound unit
- Night shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4x10-hour shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Local candidates are welcome to apply
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- BSN preferred; diploma and associate degrees from ACEN- or CCNE-accredited programs are also accepted
- 2 professional references from supervisor level or above required for consideration
- Skills checklist required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must not have been employed by this facility within the previous 6 months
- This is a drug- and tobacco-free workplace; smoking is not permitted anywhere on campus
- The facility enforces a natural nail policy
- Black scrubs are required
- Time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application, as requests submitted after placement may be declined
- Travelers are not guaranteed holidays off
