Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in California, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of PACU experience.
Details
- Post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) setting within a hospital
- Day shift schedule based on surgical caseload and unit needs, with typical start times of 0900, 1000, or 1330
- 5x8-hour shifts per week
- Floating between all facilities within California is required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to patients following surgical procedures
- Schedule is variable and determined by the surgical caseload and unit needs
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- Former permanent employees of Providence must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
