Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a NICU night shift travel assignment requiring Level III NICU experience and current NRP certification.
Details
- Respiratory Care department serving adult and neonatal patient populations
- NICU setting requiring Level III NICU experience
- Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment length
- Uses equipment such as G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, and V60/V30 ventilators specific to patient population
- EMR system used is Meditech
- Typical procedures include airway management, ventilator management, and ED support
Requirements
- Active RRT license required if applicable
- Minimum 6 months of current NICU RRT experience
- Level III NICU experience required
- PEDS experience required
- NBRC Certification required
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- NRP must be Advanced 9th Edition
- Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Critical care experience preferred
- PICU experience preferred
- Prior Meditech experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory care services to neonatal and pediatric patients including airway and ventilator management
- Support ED with respiratory care as needed
- Strong communication skills with staff and providers is a priority
- Patient care experience is highly valued
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this role
