Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Alabaster, AL, requiring 5+ years of Cath Lab procedural experience and active AL or compact RN license.

Details

• Located in the Cardiac Cath Lab of an acute care hospital in Alabaster, AL
• Cardiology patient population in a 4-room Cath Lab setting
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 4x10 day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call required at least 1 day per week, plus 1 weekend every 4th weekend
• No floating required
• Equipment includes Philips X-ray and Merge HEMO charting system
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active AL RN license or compact RN license, in hand at time of consideration — no hits on license accepted
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — American Red Cross certifications are not accepted
• Minimum 5+ years of recent Cath Lab procedural RN experience required
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Perform procedural nursing care for cardiac catheterization patients
• EP (electrophysiology) experience is a plus
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue or Navy; scrubs are required attire
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Certifications must not be expired or expiring within 30 days of the start date; proof of enrollment in a renewal class is acceptable as a placeholder
