Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position in Minnesota, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PICU or pediatric CVICU experience and willingness to float between two hospital locations.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital-based Pediatric ICU (PICU)
• Patient population includes pre- and post-operative pediatric surgical patients, trauma patients, and pre- and post-cardiac procedural patients
• 12-hour shifts covering days, evenings, and nights
• Every other weekend required
• Floating between two hospital campuses is expected as needed

Requirements

• Active MN RN license or MN Temporary Permit required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• Minimum 2 years of PICU nursing experience, including care for pre- and post-operative surgical and trauma patients, OR minimum 2 years of pediatric CVICU experience with competency in cardiac surgical and procedural patient care

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include caring for critically ill pediatric patients across surgical, trauma, and cardiac specialties
• RNs must be comfortable and willing to float between both hospital campuses as part of regular assignment
